So you’re a huge football fan with an even larger NFL memorabilia collection. But there’s one piece of history you don’t have – Aaron Hernandez‘s jail ID card.
Why you’d actually want such is beyond me, but apparently it’s available on eBay if you just can’t control yourself.
TMZ doesn’t know who the man is selling Aaron Hernandez’s jail ID card is, though the man does tell them that he was in jail with the former New England Patriots tight end and came across the ID one day and kept it for himself.
As for the seller — that person has not revealed his own identity … but explained in the eBay post, “I was in jail with Arron Hernandes [sic] the for patriot super star.. I happen to com [sic] across his jail id.”
Wonder how that happened?
We reached out to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department — but they’re not saying jack squat about the situation.
The starting eBay bid on the Aaron Hernandez jail ID card was $500 dollars but has already jumped up.
As is the case with popular items available on the auction site, it’s likely a handful of people will place false bids to raise the price up to an absurd amount of money and then won’t pay out.
What a mildly creepy piece of ‘memorabilia’, if you can even call it that.
