Earlier this morning, former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
It was just one of many charges he’s facing and he’s still yet to be tried in additional cases. Either way, Aaron Hernandez is going to be behind bars for the rest of his life.
But the former football player believes the jury got it wrong because Aaron Hernandez could be seen mouthing ‘you’re wrong’ once the verdict was given.
There isn’t much reaction, at least in a physical sense, from the former football player outside of his suggesting the jury was incorrect.
There wasn’t much the one-time tight end could do, of course, outside of saying something though more often than not you see the alleged keep their mouth shut during the verdict.
Despite the sentencing, we’re bound to see a handful of appeals put in motion by Hernandez’s representation but no matter what happens moving forward, it doesn’t appear as if the former Patriots player will ever roam the streets again.
I have to admit – it’s a little chilling watching the Aaron Hernandez reaction as you’d think somebody who wasn’t guilty and was just given a life sentence would have reacted in a much stronger way.
