Tony Romo Takes Shot At New England Patriots (Video)

If you happened to watch the CMT Awards on Sunday night, which were hosted at Jerry Jones‘ incredible AT&T Stadium, you might have thought you were watching a Dallas Cowboys football game.

From the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders serving as the award holders to players like Jason Witten making an apperence, there was a ton of focus on ‘America’s Team’.

Along with Witten, fellow Cowboy Tony Romo made an apperence at the Country Music Awards and in the process decided to poke a little fun at the New England Patriots over ‘Deflategate’.

Hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan were catching passes from Romo, who was introducing the next act, but before that happened Shelton asked if the football he just threw was ‘one of those deflated balls’.

Tony Romo was having none of that and suggested he and the Dallas Cowboys have real balls.

Shots fired? Yeah, not really. It was just a typical, softball joke over ‘Deflategate’ and Romo wasn’t trying to suggest anything on the part of the Patriots. Or was he?!

If anything, it was more of an attempt to praise the Cowboys and get the Dallas-based crowd fired up over their hometown team, considering the slightest mention of the ‘Boys sent AT&T Stadium into a mild eruption.
