Tom Brady Suspended By NFL For Four Games

Tom Brady

The NFL took their time when it came to Deflategate, but they didn’t wait around when it came to punishment as Tom Brady has been suspended by the NFL for four games.

That’s the word from the AP who was first to report the story.

Word had been leaking over the past few days that Roger Goodell would drop the hammer on the New England Patriots, namely Tom Brady, and today was apparently the day for such to occur.

So was it a fair punishment?

Certainly seems a little light on the missed games, assuming the NFL does indeed believe he was wrong. And frankly, they wouldn’t have suspended him unless they thought he messed with the footballs, so you can’t help but think NFL suspensions are all over the place. You can cheat the game and only get a few weeks but fail a drug test and you might miss half the season. Not that either is right, but the league might want to improve their suspension policies to be more accurate all the way around.

Ironically enough, Tom Brady will return in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts assuming he doesn’t win his appeal.

I’m guessing his Fathead will fall even further in price.
