Tom Brady On Patriots’ Deflategate: My Feelings Were Hurt

Tom Brady

Sure, Tom Brady might be married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen. And yes, he might have a couple hundred million dollars sitting in his bank accounts. But dammit, the New England Patriots quarterback is just like you and I – he has feelings too.

The Super Bowl winning signal caller appeared on WEEI’s “Dennis & Callahan” show Monday morning to discuss the Deflategate situation and stated the accusations levied against he and his Pats hurt his feelings.

“I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me and my feelings got hurt, and then I moved past it because it’s not serving me. I think what’s serving me is to try to prepare for the game ahead, and I’ll deal with whatever happens later. I’ll have my opportunity to try to figure out what happened and figure out a theory like everyone else is trying to do.”

Perhaps there’s a very small chance Tom Brady had no idea what was going on with the New England Patriots’ deflated balls and was an innocent bystander in all of this, though most would probably assume the signal caller knew what was going on.

His press conference last week didn’t exactly do anything to dispel such a thought either, though it seems he and the Patriots are doing what they can to put the situation behind them in preparation for the Super Bowl.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
