Tim Tebow May Attempt Football Comeback At NFL Veteran Combine

Tim Tebow

Every year the NFL holds their annual Veteran Combine which gives former players who are now out of the league (or players who think they can play in the league) an opportunity to impress football scouts and garner an invite to training camp.

It’s usually full of non-roster invitees and/or college players who didn’t get drafted, but this year a big name could be in attendance as Tim Tebow will possibly attempt a football comeback at the NFL Veteran Combine.

The NFL is holding a veteran combine in Phoenix on March 22 for players now out of the league, and one name I’ve heard a few times as a possible participant is Tim Tebow, who we last saw throwing a football in August 2013 for the Patriots. Turns out Tebow has been working diligently with Tom House (also Tom Brady’s personal coach) in Los Angeles over the last two years, sharpening his skills and hoping for one last shot. House told us on Friday that he isn’t sure if Tebow will be attending the combine, but “he went from being a little inaccurate and didn’t throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball.”

Tim Tebow, who previously played for the New York Jets, New England Patriots and Denver Broncos has been out of the NFL for quite some time and while he’s attempted to keep his football skills sharp, it’s unlikely he’d show enough for a team to give him much of a chance.

His best bet is to continue his promising television career.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
