For weeks now, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has grabbed his dick every time he scored a touchdown. Hell, the Pro Bowl talent has even grabbed his crotch when on the sidelines as a teammate scores. Needless to say, he’s in the business of dick grabbing.
Somebody who’s not in the business of such would be the NFL. The league has allegedly threatened both the Seahawks and Lynch that if he’s to unleash the “celebration” against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, there will be a taunting penalty directed their way.
The NFL wants Lynch to know that officials will be on the lookout and ready to assess a 15-yard penalty if Lynch does it again. NFL V.P. of Officiating Dean Blandino told ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio that the Seahawks have been warned that if Lynch makes an obscene gesture at any time during Super Bowl XLIX, the Seahawks will be penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.
This of course comes just a week after the NFL informed Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks they would eject him from the NFC Championship if he was to wear his custom gold cleats.
It’s understandable (though a bit silly) as to why the league wouldn’t want Lynch grabbing his junk in a game watched by hundreds of millions of people, but a 15-yard penalty is almost worth the reaction from the NFL.
