Seahawks Look Like R&B Group On Sports Illustrated Cover (Photo)

Have you seen the newest Sports Illustrated cover featuring the Seattle Seahawks’ ‘Legion of Boom’? If you did, you might have overlooked it assuming it was an R&B album from 1996.

Dressed in leather and jean jacket outfits, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Earl Thomas and the rest of the crew looked like they were replicating themselves to be in a Jagged Edge video.

Understandably, the internet and social media couldn’t help but mock the Seattle Seahawks players.

As questionable as their attire might be, you have to give it up to Richard Sherman who continually sticks up for his lesser-known teammates. While everybody knows Sherman (namely due to his antics and loud mouth), few know the remaining members of the ‘Legion of Boom’ so the Pro Bowl defensive back does anything and everything he can to get them exposure.

He even attempted to get EA Sports to include the entire ‘LOB’ on the cover of the annual Madden video game, though wasn’t able to do so for logistics reasons. Either way, he still tried and you have to assume he was the reason behind Sports Illustrated putting the ‘LOB’ on their pre-Super Bowl cover.

If only he didn’t make them look like a reincarnated version of New Edition.

Cool it now.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
