San Francisco 49ers Sign Reggie Bush To Replace Frank Gore

Reggie Bush

Out with the old, in with the new. That’s a motto the San Francisco 49ers are going to live by during the NFL offseason as they’ve lost a handful of star players. They’ve also brought a few in as well as not only did they sign wide receiver Torrey Smith, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, they’ve also signed running back Reggie Bush to replace Frank Gore who signed with the Indianapolis Colts.

Bush won’t of course replace Gore’s running style as he’s more of a sideline to sideline rusher in comparison to Gore’s slam it up the middle approach, though when combined with Carlos Hyde, Reggie Bush should be a solid addition for the San Francisco 49ers.

Of course, that’s assuming that Reggie Bush can stay on the field as he’s essentially the human splint, routinely getting injured on the most routine of plays. Even if the injury isn’t deemed serious, the running back is often seen limping off the field with minor ankle tweaks, etc.

Hopefully he’ll avoid the rash of injuries that have plagued him throughout his football career and he’ll be a solid compliment for Colin Kaepernick‘s San Francisco 49ers offense.
