Few would have expected the New Orleans Saints to trade Jimmy Graham on Tuesday afternoon, but that’s exactly what the franchise did. Now many are wondering how much longer Drew Brees will be with the organization.
In a clear rebuilding scenario, the Saints have reportedly made Drew Brees available for trade, this according to a handful of sources.

This isn’t exactly shocking news considering the Jimmy Graham trade, but what makes the whole scenario more interesting is the fact that the Saints met with former Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston recently.
By the way, for what it’s worth, the Saints met with Jameis Winston at the combine. The Saints now have two first-round picks. That is all.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers of course hold the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, though it’s difficult to imagine them actually parting with such (even if they were to secure additional first round draft picks) in exchange for the veteran quarterback. Yes, they need to fill a variety of holes though a season or two of Drew Brees isn’t worth giving up on the potential of Jameis Winston.
