Russell Wilson: God Made Me Throw Interceptions

Russell Wilson And His Wife

While Russell Wilson may be one of the best quarterback’s in the NFL, he was far from it on Sunday afternoon during the Seattle Seahawks’ impressive NFC Championship comeback against the Green Bay Packers.

Wilson abnormally threw four interceptions on the day, something he believes God had a hand in.

“That’s God setting it up, to make it so dramatic, so rewarding, so special.”

Okay, so in the past two days we’ve had the Seahawks’ social media team compare Russell Wilson’s adversity to that of Martin Luther King Jr. and now Wilson himself is suggesting God was the reason for his poor performance.

Perhaps they might want to just sit back and talk about their upcoming game against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl because they’re getting a rather bad case of foot in mouth disease.

Simply put, Russell Wilson played bad for the vast majority of the game and the Green Bay Packers coughed up a game they appeared to have in hand. They ended up giving a very good team an extra opportunity and as we’ve all seen before, doing so is a recipe for disaster.

Russell Wilson threw interceptions because he stunk for the vast majority of the game. Russell Wilson helped the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship because he played like a Pro Bowl talent in the 4th quarter and overtime. That simple.
