Some around the NFL might suggest that the Seattle Seahawks bend the lines on the football field.
But it’s not cheating if you don’t get caught, right? Well, in regards to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots – they did get caught. But it seems as if they’re getting support, specifically Brady, from much of the league.
That includes Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks who says he doesn’t believe Tom Brady or the Patriots cheated. He does admit that some possible shenanigans might have occurred, but at the end of the day he believes they still have to beat you on the football field.
“And at the end of the day, that’s what it’s about. You can say you stole scripts or whatever it is, but they still have to win the game. They still have to intercept the ball. They still have to execute. Eleven guys have to execute at the same time. And that’s what they did, so give them credit. If there’s hanky-panky going on, they’ve gotten away with it.
“Like they say, if you didn’t get caught, then it wasn’t cheating.”
A bit of an odd viewpoint considering most would believe that a team doing what the Patriots are alleged, would get an unfair advantage, but I regress.
Of course, this just gives Richard Sherman another chance to yell at Tom Brady.
