The growing beef between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots got a little extra marination today when Rex Ryan decided to throw some shade in the direction of Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Ryan, asked about Gronk during his Monday morning press conference, praised the New England Patriots star….before delivering a rather epic backhanded compliment, suggesting that Rob Gronkowski is a ‘great actor’.
Rex on Gronk: "We'll stand by our record against him. He's tough. He's huge. He's a hell of an actor." Man … That was a great presser.

Of course, in typical Rex Ryan fashion, the comment was said in jest – doing his part to spark a wave of excitement between the two teams. Rex is of course no stranger to public spats with the Patriots as he had quite a few during his time at the helm of the New York Jets.
Seems little has changed, other than the target.
I’m guessing Tom Brady will be next in line.
