Raiders Rumors: Charles Woodson Wants Ndamukong Suh In Oakland

Ndamukong Suh

When you think of the Oakland Raiders, you think of Charles Woodson as the former Heisman Trophy winner has been a face of the franchise for years (sans his short stint with the Green Bay Packers). But Woodson knows the end of his career is looming and hopes the Oakland Raiders have a face of their franchise in the wings – tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Routinely voted as the NFL’s dirtiest player, Charles Woodson is a big fan of Ndamukong Suh and would like the free agent and former Detroit Lions star playing for the Oakland Raiders this season.

“I don’t think there’s a team in the NFL that wouldn’t want to see Ndamukong Suh on their team,” Woodson said via ESPN’s Michael Rothstein. “I know I would be no different. That guy is one of the best, overall, period in the NFL. Would I like him on our team? Believe it.”

Suh is certainly a name attraction though probably not the type of talent Oakland is looking for if they want to clean up any incorrect perceptions regarding the franchise. That said, he’s very talented and would be a nice on-field addition assuming he chills on his dirty antics.

He won’t come cheaply though and while the Oakland Raiders have plenty of cap space, it’s not known if they’ll be willing to spend it on Suh.
