Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Blames Team For Death In Obituary

Pittsburgh Steelers fan Eleanor Miriam Gallagher of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania spent much of her life watching her favorite team be one of the most successful franchises in the NFL. From the Steel Curtain to Bill Cowher to Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, Gallagher was a witness to plenty of amazing times. She also witnessed some rough years, much like this past season which may have attributed in her death.

At 81-years-old, Eleanor passed away the past Wednesday and apparently she or somebody in her family wanted to have some fun at the expense of her favorite team, suggesting they played a role in her death.

Eleanor was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and the family firmly believes that the recent separation of Dick LeBeau and the Steelers’ poor performance this season might have inadvertently contributed to her demise.

I’m not sure where to go here. Clearly the woman and her family have a unique though funny sense of humor, right? Nobody in their right mind could actually believe an NFL teams transactions would be enough reason to cause a death. Or would they?

If that’s the case, I better stop rooting for my favorite teams now because given their horrific records over the past few decades, I already have two feet in the ground.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
