Patriots, Packers, Chargers Interested In Percy Harvin?

Percy Harvin

The New York Jets currently own the rights to Percy Harvin though the wide receiver might be released in the coming weeks due to some obligations that involve draft picks. It’s mildly complicated so we’ll simply look over the issue and tell you that Harvin staying on the Jets roster is going to be rather costly.

Given that, the belief is that he’ll be given a pink slip. If that is to happen, multiple teams are likely to express interest in the potential free agent including the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers.

If the Jets and Harvin can’t reach a deal, watch these three teams closely: the Chargers, Packers, and Patriots. With any of those, Harvin could do a one-year deal, partner with one of the best quarterbacks in the game, have a huge year, chase a championship, and set himself up for a bigger contract in 2016.

So let me get this straight – Percy Harvin had the opportunity to potentially ditch Geno Smith and catch passes from either Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Philip Rivers? How is he not doing anything possible to sabotage his deal right now?

In all seriousness though, Harvin, while very talented, has yet to live up to his expectations though playing alongside any of those quarterbacks would certainly give him every opportunity to be the star so many thought he could be.
