I’m all for buying your favorite players jersey and representing him out and about. But there’s a fine line between being supportive and slightly crazy. That’s something one New England Patriots/Tom Brady fan is riding the line on this morning after he tattooed Brady’s name on the inside of his lip.
Yep – the dude permanently inked the signal callers name on him.
Johnny Nichols, a 21-year-old decided the best way to support his favorite player and team was to tattoo his name just two days before the Patriots were to host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship. Even crazier? The guy wasn’t even in Boston when he got it done but rather 9,000 miles away in Indonesia.
Nichols told Boston.com that the Tom Brady tattoo hurt just as much as you thought it would.
“Have to represent from 9,000 miles away!” he said. Nichols has been traveling for the past few months, recently to Thailand before going to Bali. “I’m really into surfing.”
He’s also apparently really into pain because holy crap – why not just stab your mouth with a million little tacks?
There’s no other way he could have thought to represent his favorite team and Tom Brady from afar? Even just a basic tattoo on your arm?
