Could the Oakland Raiders have a new tight next season? Even better, could they sang him from a division rival? It’s possible as Denver Broncos star Julius Thomas suggests signing with the Oakland Raiders is a possibility.
Thomas, appearing on 95.7 The Game admitted that he grew up watching the Raiders and was a fan of the franchise before joining the Broncos. Now the idea of signing with his former favorite team has seemingly crossed his mind.
.@Julius_Thomas says becoming a #Raiders TE next season is a possibility. He'll wait and see if they reach out. Grew up a Raiders fan.

While Mychal Rivera is a solid tight end, he’s by no stretch in the same relam as Julius Thomas who is among the elite at the position. Yes, part of that is due to the talent on the Denver Broncos and he does have Peyton Manning throwing to him, but even without those things Thomas would still be one of the better tight ends in the NFL.
It remains to be seen if the Oakland Raiders will be interested in spending the big dollars needed to sign Julius Thomas, though he’d be a solid coup, especially considering you’re also hurting your divisional foe in the process of signing him.
There’s also the chance that Thomas could be attempting to gain some leverage in contract talks with the Broncos, but it sounds like Oakland could be a serious threat to sign the Pro Bowl tight end.
