NFL Rumors: Texans, Titans, Rams Interested In Nick Foles Trade

Nick Foles

Assuming Marcus Mariota isn’t taken in the first five picks of the 2015 NFL Draft, it’s believed by many the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets will complete a trade for the Oregon Ducks quarterback, reuniting Chip Kelly with his college quarterback.

If that happens, current Eagles signal caller Nick Foles will be out of a job though there are apparently plenty of teams interested in the former Arizona Wildcats star.

That includes the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and St. Louis Rams who are all interested in a Nick Foles trade.

Three teams that were interested in Foles at the time, per a person with knowledge of the situation who requested anonymity, were the St. Louis Rams, Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans.

The interest from those teams was said to be back at the January Senior Bowl, so it’s doubtful much has changed in that regard. What type of price the Philadelphia Eagles would be commanding for Nick Foles is an unknown and Philly certainly isn’t going to make a move currently since they don’t know if they’ll nab Mariota, but it’s a scenario to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

For now, Foles remains the Eagles starting quarterback.
