On Thursday night, the St. Louis Rams made one of the more shocking moves of the 2015 NFL Draft, selecting former Georgia running back Todd Gurley with the 10th overall pick.
It was a move that former Rams sometimes starting running back (well, depending on the day) Zac Stacy didn’t take kindly to as he responded on Twitter with only one word: ‘yikes’.
Now it’s the Rams who’ll be saying ‘yikes’ as the running back has requested a trade, this according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Rams RB Zak Stacy, who tweeted “Yikes” after STL drafted Todd Gurley, has requested a trade and team is open to moving him, per NFL source.

Yes, Adam spelled his name wrong, but it’s not the end of the world. It is pretty big NFL news though as there’s always a market for running backs and this will likely make any potential Adrian Peterson trade more difficult than it would have been as teams now have other options.
Who exactly will show interest in the St. Louis Rams running back however, is not known, though a football team who missed out on getting their running back in the draft will likely come calling.
Should be interesting to see if Zac Stacy backs down from his request or refuses to budge.
