Say what you will about Johnny Manziel, but the signal caller would make for good TV. So would a dysfunctional football franchise, which is probably why the Cleveland Browns are likely to be featured on the upcoming season of HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’.
In the past, the movie channel has struggled to get an NFL team on the highly popular program but about a year ago, the league changed the rules all but forcing a team to agree to participate baring they didn’t fall under a special set of rules.
The Cleveland Browns don’t fall under any of those rules and will probably be the team featured for the upcoming Hard Knocks season.

Honestly, it’s difficult to think of a better football team to put on the television show. There is all sorts of turmoil within the front office, a quarterback job up for grabs and Johnny Football is on the roster, returning from rehab.
Almost sounds like the perfect football soap opera.
A bit weird the Cleveland Browns have now been the focus of the feature film ‘Draft Day’ and likely will be the face (at least for a year) of HBO’s Hard Knocks.
