While Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch may have made the headlines during the Seattle Seahawks’ impressive comeback against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship, it appeared the day belonged to Michael Bennett.
No, the defensive end didn’t stuff the stat sheet though he did celebrate the victory by commandeering a police officer’s bike and riding it around CenturyLink Field. Strangely though, things were only about to get better as Bennett was interviewed and asked what the comeback experience felt like.
His answer? Losing your virginity.
Is that a good way of saying the Seahawks gave the Packers the business?
The game certainly was boring in the first half and Seattle did look a bit shell shocked, much like a guy who sees boobs for the first time in his life. But when push came to shove, the Seahawks got down to business and finished with a flurry. So yeah, I guess in a way Michael Bennett’s suggestion that the Seahawks’ comeback was a lot like losing your virginity was a damn good analysis.
Hopefully after Bennett’s playing days are over he’ll take his humorous act to the airwaves and join one of the major football networks as a commentator/broadcaster.
