Marshawn Lynch Said Tom Brady Is ‘God of Football’ And ‘Hyphy’

Marshawn Lynch Skittles

Oh, internet, how I love you so.

While Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch wasn’t one to talk on Tuesday come Super Bowl Media Day, he certainly didn’t mind doing so back in 2008 when asked about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Lynch, then a member of the Buffalo Bills was talking about fellow NFL players and when Brady’s name came up, the running back couldn’t contain his excitement suggesting the Pats signal caller was the “God of Football” and “100 percent hyphy”.

And no, I’m not bullshitting you. Check out this old YardBarker piece which is sure to have you rolling.

While Marshawn Lynch calling Brady “hyphy” and a “football god” was pretty damn amusing, his befuddled look when asked about the quarterback might be the best part of the entire video. Actually, his Oakland A’s inspired wardrobe which looks like it should be in a 1992 MC Hammer video is the best part, but Lynch’s over-the-top dramatic glares are just icing on the cake.

If only the Seattle Seahawks running back would have spit some new 2015-slang about Brady and the Patriots at Super Bowl Media Day, but no, he just had to hit us with the “I’m just here so I won’t get fined” line 26-times.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
