You can’t help but feel for athletes as they’re people too who deserve to have a night on the town. Of course, they might want to make sure their friends are a little less aggressive the next time they go to a nightclub or restaurant though, something Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is finding out the hard way.
According to TMZ, Marshawn Lynch was involved in a fight on Friday night when the running back and his friends were leaving a San Francisco based restaurant.
Lynch, a native of the Bay Area (Oakland, specifically) was being verbally assaulted by a fan calling him a “Sea Chicken” (really creative, mind you) when one of Lynch’s buddies began swinging. The Seattle Seahawks running back was said to be trying to pull his friend off the combative “fan” though witnsesses say Marshawn Lynch also tossed a few punches in the midst of the melee.
Marshawn and his crew were leaving a San Fran bar when a drunk guy taunted the running back, repeatedly calling him a “Seattle Sea Chicken.”
Someone in Marshawn’s crew snapped and a melee erupted. You see Marshawn in a white cap trying to pull one of his friends away from the jerk. An eyewitness tells us Marshawn got in a few punches before walking away.
From what it looks like, the Marshawn Lynch fight was namely the football player trying to break up a brawl so it’s doubtful the NFL will hand out much punishment if any to the Seattle Seahawks star.
