If you were asked to name fifty of the brightest young stars in the NFL, you’d assume Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel would make the list, right? Well, if you do, you’d be incorrect.
According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, NFL Players Inc. listed the top 50 most marketable and brightest young stars in the league, yet, the former Texas A&M signal caller was no place to be found.

Okay, I can see Johnny Manziel possibly not making that list as there are a lot of good, young players in the top 25. But top 50? Manziel should easily make that.

Ouch.
Eric Decker? Mark Ingram? Lamar Miller? Talk about a hefty check to the ego.
Of course, all it takes is for a couple good games next season and the Johnny Manziel hype train will be chugging into stations across the country, though there’s no denying the pressure put on the quarterback. Things have become so bad, even Browns owner Jimmy Haslem called out his quarterback and would not commit to him being part of the team’s future earlier this month.
Needless to say, Johnny Manziel’s current situation would be an excellent piece for Dave Chappelle to mock in his infamous “S*#$ Just Got Real” videos.
