Jerry Jones On Dallas Cowboys: There Will Be Changes

Jerry Jones and Tony Romo

After getting destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, many pondered if the Dallas Cowboys were in for yet another disappointing season.

That wasn’t to be the case as Tony Romo and company rebounded from their embarrassing loss and eventually took home the NFC East title along with a Wild Card playoff victory over the Detroit Lions.

Who knows how far they could have went if a questionable call went their way, but luck wasn’t on their side and now Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says changing will be coming.

“There certainly will be changes,” the Cowboys owner and general manager stated. “These rosters have turnover, automatically. We’ve got coaches that are certainly highly thought of, so they’ll be looking at their individual situation. That’s pretty much what we do.

Many have suggested Jones’ meddling ways have hampered the Cowboys in recent seasons, though it doesn’t sound as if he’s planning any wholesale moves but rather basic offseason additions/subtractions that every franchise deals with.

The Cowboys do have a lot of question marks regarding their salary cap and upcoming contracts, so it’ll certainly be a busy offseason in the front office though Jones’ first priority is said to be getting head coach Jason Garrett signed on the dotted line.
