If you’ve spent enough time browsing YouTube, you’ll have likely come across some guy with a video camera trying to pick up women. They usually fail, because, well, duh – but one guy decided to take things a step further and in his attempts to pick up women, only used Marshawn Lynch quotes.
Yes, from his infamous “I’m only here so I don’t get fined” to “I’m just ’bout that action, boss”, Alex Henry only used Marshawn Lynch quotes in his attempt to hit on ladies and by god – it worked, really well in fact.
Sure, there were a handful of ladies who wanted nothing to do with Henry and effectively told him to get lost, but there were actually a few that gave him their phone number.
Had somebody told me that a guy would go out in blizzard like conditions and hit on college-age women by using nothing other than Marshawn Lynch lines, I’d probably have suggested they were crazy and it would be completely infective.
I’m not sure I’m going to change my stance on the crazy part, but that worked much better than I would have imagined it to.
Hopefully somebody does this again, but this time using Richard Sherman quotes.
