Here we are, just a day from the NFL regular season kicking off.

And here you are, in a panic, trying to figure out what players to start in Week 1 of your fantasy football league. But no worries, we here at Guy Hut have you covered.

With Week 1 fantasy football lineups needing to be locked in by tomorrow evening (for both daily fantasy and weekly fantasy) here are some of the top projected players for opening week.

QBAaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Ryan Tannehill, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers

Both Rogers and Tannehill face two of the worst defenses (statistically, from last season) in the NFL while Brees and Rivers play middle of the pack squads. Danger Russ gets a stout Rams defense, but he should still put up solid numbers.

RB: Eddie Lacy, DeMarco Murray, Jamaal Charles, Marshawn Lynch, Matt Forte

Adrian Peterson has been getting a lot of love in Week 1 fantasy football rankings, understandably, as he’ll go against a decimated San Francisco 49ers defense. That said, Lacy and Murray both should have easy tilts while Charles, Lynch and Forte are always a good bet for high ranking points.

WR: Randall Cobb, Calvin Johnson, Odell Beckham Jr., A.J. Green, Dez Bryant

Cobb, Johnson and Bryant all have fantastic matchups on paper and should be able to exploit such without much difficulty. Green and Beckham might not have as favorable of a schedule in Week 1, but they’re still the elite of the elite.

TE: Rob Gronkowski, Jason Witten, Zach Ertz, Martellus Bennett, Jimmy Graham

Outside of Gronk and Witten, there aren’t a lot of high quality matchups at the tight end position in the Week 1 fantasy football rankings. Guys like Travis Kelce will have to deal with J.J. Watt, so they’re best avoided.

Defense: Seattle Seahawks, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts

They’re opponents, in order, are the St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills. Enough said.

Sleepers:

Carson Palmer (QB), Darren McFadden (RB), Ryan Matthews (RB), Eddie Royal (WR), John Brown (WR), Larry Donnell (TE)

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
