Dez Bryant: I’d Love To Play With Adrian Peterson

Dez Bryant

Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant wants the Minnesota Vikings to trade former Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson to Big D.

The only problem?

He knows it won’t happen.

TMZ caught up with Bryant when he was out on the town and asked him a variety of questions, including his thoughts on the ‘catch’ (or alleged lack of) during the NFC Championship game. But perhaps the most interesting of Dez Bryant’s comments came when he was asked about playing with AP.

While Dez Bryant says he’d love to play with Adrian Peterson, he says the Minnesota Vikings won’t make the trade because they know the Dallas Cowboys would run through the rest of the NFL.

“The Vikings not lettin’ that happen, ’cause if they did … the league would know what would happen.”

He does have a point as the Cowboys are already one of the best teams in football.

Add Adrian Peterson to Tony Romo‘s backfield, especially when it’s believed that Joseph Randle is the current Dallas Cowboys starting running back, and that’s a pretty huge upgrade.

Alas, it doesn’t sound like anything is progressing on the Adrian Peterson trade front and the former Oklahoma star will be staying with the Vikings moving forward.
