DeMarco Murray Rumors: Unsure Of Dallas Cowboys Return

DeMarco Murray

If the Dallas Cowboys are to re-sign both Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray, they’re going to have to get creative financially. It’s not impossible to make such a move, but it seems rather unlikely given the circumstances and the investment.

So has Murray reserved the fact that he won’t be returning to Big D next season? Not yet, at least, as the running back who broke the Dallas Cowboys’ single-season rushing record this past season says he hasn’t even thought about his next move.

“Honestly, I haven’t gotten that far,” he said. “It’s only been a week and a half, two weeks removed from the season, so I’m still kind of fresh for me from the way it ended. I haven’t gotten that far yet.”

It seems evident that in a perfect world,  DeMarco Murray would like to return to the Cowboys and they’d like him back. However, he’d need to take a pretty hefty salary cut to do such and money talks. Return to the Cowboys at a discount or go elsewhere and get paid?

For now he’s not giving the public much indication as to which way he’s leaning, though if Adrian Peterson does become available, you have to wonder if we’ve seen the last of DeMarco Murray as a Dallas Cowboys player.
