What do Tom Brady, Johnny Manziel and Robert Griffin III all have in common? They’ve all found themselves on the clearance rack in recent months.
That’s not exactly difficult to believe when it comes to Johnny Football and RGIII, but Tom Brady? The NFL’s golden boy? The biggest star (arguably) in football? Couldn’t be, could it?
Apparently it can because Tom Brady’s Fathead is now just $30 dollars, a hefty drop from the normal price of $90 to $100 bucks.
While the price change doesn’t come from Fathead’s official site, it does come from Amazon who has dropped the Tom Brady Fathead considerably in the days since he was more or less accused of being behind Deflategate.
Granted, if you look through Amazon you can find some Fathead’s that are reduced price, but finding a Tom Brady one is pretty rare. Given that, is the reduction in price just a coincidence? Or is there something more to it?
It doesn’t appear we’ll ever know, though there’s likely something to it considering the timing.
On the plus side, if you’re a New England Patriots or Tom Brady fan, it’s a great time to stock up on his memorabilia and gear considering you won’t ever find it cheaper.
