Daniel Tosh Wore Aaron Hernandez Jersey During Boston Show

Aaron Hernandez Jail ID Card

Troll on, Daniel Tosh, troll on.

The comic, who is best known for his show on Comedy Central, still does stand-up when he has time and on Friday night made his way to Boston where he had the crowd in stitches.

But it wasn’t a Daniel Tosh show without some controversy, which I’m guessing is why the comic decided to wear an Aaron Hernandez jersey on stage.

First off – where the heck are you going to get one of those? eBay? Second, while I get he was trying to garner a few chuckles and gasps, that probably wasn’t in the best taste. Then again, it’s Daniel Tosh and nobody would be talking about his stand up show in Boston if not for the Aaron Hernandez jersey, right?

So in the end, while mildly tasteful, it’s a fantastic marketing ploy on the part of the comedian.

The former New England Patriots tight end is of course serving a life sentence.

Hopefully no current Patriots like Tom Brady were at the show, because they’d likely catch some flack too.
