Dallas Cowboys Fans Relentlessly Boo DeMarco Murray At UFC

DeMarco Murray

Apparently, former Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray thought all would be okay in Big D despite signing with the Philadelphia Eagles. I mean, not only did he leave the team in free agency, but the running back picked one of the Cowboys’ biggest rivals and possibly biggest sans the Redskins.

Still, the Pro Bowl football player had enough gusto to attend UFC 185 in Dallas which probably wasn’t the best idea considering he was booed relentlessly by Cowboys fans all through the event.

Before Murray signed with the Eagles, he had promised to attend the UFC fight, so while we commend him for honoring his word he certainly took a pretty good lashing for doing so as you can see in this video.

According to the video uploader, UFC chairman Dana White allegedly asked for Murray to be shown on the American Airlines Center jumbotron, though I’m not sure he thought the whole thing through unless he was wanting the running back to get blasted.

Either way, good on the Philadelphia Eagles running back for showing up in what is now considered hostile territory but good on the Cowboys fans for making their voices known as well. Of course, it’s hard to blame a guy for taking the money, which is what most would have done.

Hopefully for the Cowboys sake, things don’t go down hill which is a worry of Dallas legend Michael Irvin.
