It was a rough season in the Chicago Bears’ locker room and it appears the troubles have extended themselves onto the social media platform.
To make a long story short, tight end Martellus Bennett was apparently following offensive lineman Kyle Long and then for whatever reason decided to stop, opting to unfollow him.
That didn’t sit well with Long who informed his teammate that he was now unfollowing him on Twitter.
I’m afraid I have to reciprocate your act. You have been unfollowed @MartysaurusRex

No big deal, right? Probably just two guys bored in the offseason having fun with each other. But like a Dave Chappelle skit, that’s when shit started to get real, at least for Bennett who had a rather negative reaction to Kyle Long’s unfollowing.
@Ky1eLong why are you worried about who is following you on twitter? More important shit is happening in my world than Kyle Long’s tweets

Uh oh.
Wait – it gets worse?
@Ky1eLong I don’t need this form of social currency maybe you do. If a follow from me is going to make you feel wealthier socially, then

@Ky1eLong u need to get out more. I prefer our day to day interactions in person. But that’s just me. You have my number. Stop the bullshit

Oh my.
On the plus side, at least it’s a Chicago Bears problem where Jay Cutler isn’t involved.
