With Super Bowl media day upon us, you’d think New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick would be his normally snarky self, right? I mean, between the absurd amount of Deflategate questions being lobbied his way and the pressure of Sunday’s Super Bowl looming, Belichick had every reason to be his sarcastic, cranky self.
Yet, with his proverbial middle finger flying through the air, the New England Patriots coach showed up to the festivities in flip flops (take that cold weather Super Bowl locations) and even crazier? Smiled! Yes, Mr. Hoodie himself even showed his grill.

I know New York and Boston are frozen over but apparently the blizzard also captured Hell in the process. Smiles and flip flops?
The only thing that would have made this day better would have been Belichick staring with The Lonely Island and T-Pain’s “I’m on a Boat” song.
In all seriousness though, Bill Belichick does everything for a reason and I can’t help but think this was a simple and subtle yet effective way to toss up his middle fingers, 2Pac style, to all those who were giving the Patriots grief this past week over Deflategate.
Now we just need Tom Brady in some Uggs and the day will be complete.
