It appears as if Julius Thomas‘ time with the Denver Broncos is coming to an end as the tight end is one of the most coveted players in NFL free agency. The amount of teams that have been linked to Thomas is endless, though one team who isn’t likely to sign the Pro Bowl talent are the Atlanta Falcons.
While the Dirty Birds could use both a tight end and somebody to catch passes alongside Roddy White and Julio Jones, it apparently won’t be Julius Thomas according to Vaughn McClure.
For those asking, I’m told “I don’t see Julius in the picture there” in regard to Julius Thomas and the Falcons. .

Thomas would obviously be a welcome addition for the Atlanta Falcons and one that fills multiple holes and areas of need. Of course, his price tag is going to be extremely high and the Falcons have plenty of other areas that need addressing as well. Given that, it doesn’t make a lot of financial sense for Atlanta to bring Julius Thomas in despite the fact he would be a nice asset for Matt Ryan and company.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are said to be the favorite for Thomas, currently.
