Arian Foster Wants NFL To Allow Fighting Like NHL

If Houston Texans running back Arian Foster had his way, he’d not only be high-stepping defenders en route to the endzone, he’d be punching them in their helmets.

Well, maybe he wouldn’t be doing that considering he’d eventually come away with a broken hand, but if somebody decided to get a little too cute, Foster wants to be given the opportunity to ring their bell.

Watching some playoff hockey, Foster was seemingly inspired by the fighting in the sport and suggested on Twitter that he’d like if the NFL would allow football players to fight during the game much like the NHL.

There was a little tongue-in-cheek here and Arian Foster isn’t truly advocating for fighting, but was rather just suggesting there’s a lot of needless trash talk that goes on.

And as Mike Tyson famously suggested, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Of course, when healthy, Foster does plenty of that with his feet as he routinely leaves the opposition in the dust.

Given that, he better get used to the no fighting rule because that didn’t really go over that well in the XFL.
