Zach LaVine says he would beat LeBron James in NBA Dunk Contest.
There aren’t many things on a basketball court that LeBron James can’t do better than his opponent, though, when it comes to the dunk contest, perhaps James may have met his match.
While the Cleveland Cavaliers star has never participated in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest (and never intends to), there’s no denying that he likely would have come home with the hardware on multiple occasions had he participated.
The same can likely be said for 2015 Slam Dunk Champion Zach LaVine, who says he would beat LeBron James in the NBA Dunk Contest if the two went head-to-head.
“See, I know LeBron’s got some stuff in him that he ain’t showed the world, either. LeBron’s one of the most freaky athletes of all time, so I don’t know. But like I said, I’m a confident person. I never go against my own talents, so I gotta say me.”
After watching Zach LaVine win the 2015 NBA Dunk Contest with these absurd slams, it’s hard to disagree as the Minnesota Timberwolves rookie put on an incredible show. Of course, we as fans would love to see the two go against each other but James doesn’t seem thrilled with the prospect, especially since there’s a good chance he’d stand to lose – something he’s not interested in doing.
James also might lose in the battle of WAG’s because Zach LaVine’s girlfriend is smoking hot.
