It’s been a rough few days for LeBron James. Not only did the Cavs end up losing a hard fought game to the Houston Rockets, which prompted James’ weird sad mirror selfie, but the Akron native also took a nasty shot to the groin.
Such took place on Sunday afternoon when both James Harden and LeBron James were going after a loose ball. Harden ended up with the rock and fell down on the court. That’s when James made his way towards Harden, in attempt to grab the ball, but ended up getting kicked in the nuts.
Was it on purpose? Or simply the laws of nature that ended up placing Harden’s foot into James’ groin?
Considering Harden was rocking back and forth on the ground when his leg went into LeBron James’ no-no area, it seemed to be accidental. But the more times I watch the turkey tap, it gets a little more unclear.
Whatever the case, it looked pretty damn painful as that was a flush smack.
Hopefully LeBron was wearing a soft cup, but basketball players often go without such, something I can’t really fathom, especially with all the grabbing that goes on in the paint. This might be enough to change James’ view on wearing such.
