NBA Rumors: Utah Jazz Exploring Derrick Favors Trade

Derrick Favors

It appears DeMarcus Cousins might not be the only big man to be traded in the near future, this according to CBS Sports as it’s being reported the Utah Jazz are exploring Derrick Favors trades.

A few weeks back, it was suggested that the Jazz would like to sign Paul Millsap, who of course began his career with Utah before moving on to the Atlanta Hawks. Now a free agent, Millsap and the Jazz are rumored to have mutual interest in a reunion but Derrick Favors would seemingly be in the way of such.

Not if they trade him though, which is alleged to be what they’re thinking about doing.

The Utah Jazz reportedly wanting to reunite with soon-to-be free agent Paul Millsap seemed a little strange, but things are becoming clearer.According to the Deseret News‘ Jody Genessy, they might trade big man Derrick Favors in order to make this happen.

Favors is seemingly coming into his own, though it has taken the youthful big man some time to do so. Given that, it’s difficult to know what type of return the Jazz would be able to net if they were indeed to pull the trigger on a Derrick Favors trade.

Regardless, it appears to be something they’re seriously considering.
