Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson spent his Thursday night like most basketball fans, watching the NBA Draft on ESPN.
And when the Nuggets seventh overall pick came around, Denver opted to select point guard Emmanuel Mudiay.
It was a clear sign that the Nuggets, who’ve been rumored to be shopping Ty Lawson, were moving on from their long time star. But does he know something we don’t? Perhaps, because Ty Lawson all but suggested he is being traded to the Sacramento Kings.
Sacramento, of course, has George Karl on the sidelines, who is a huge fan of Lawson and coached the point guard during their time together with the Nuggets.
It’s been said that Karl has been petitioning the Kings front office to acquire Lawson in a trade, who seems to believe he’ll be traded to the Kings.

It appears DeMarcus Cousins will be staying with the Sacramento Kings from this point, though, what exactly the Nuggets would recieve in exchange for Ty Lawson is unknown.
For now it appears to be more speculation on the part of Ty Lawson than anything, though it certainly wouldn’t be shocking to see such a trade go down.
