In one of the most shocking moves of the NBA trade deadline, Reggie Jackson has been traded. No, it wasn’t the trade that sent shock waves through the league but rather the destination.
Many assumed it would be the Brooklyn Nets who traded for Reggie Jackson but it was instead the Detroit Pistons.
That’s the word from Yahoo Sports who says that Reggie Jackson has been traded to the Pistons.

As if that move wasn’t crazy enough by itself, Yahoo Sports now says it’s a three team trade involving the Utah Jazz who will acquire Kendrick Perkins in the move.
As part of three-way deal with Detroit, OKC will send Kendrick Perkins to the Jazz, source tells Yahoo Sports. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) February 19, 2015
In exchange, Detroit will send Kyle Singler to the Oklahoma City Thunder while OKC will also acquire Enes Kanter from the Utah Jazz.
Such a move gets the Thunder a much needed big man who can help take the offensive pressure away from Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, which is why they were lurking in the Brook Lopez sweepstakes for so long.
Also, at least Russell Westbrook won’t need to take any more shots directed at Reggie Jackson….
