If you’re starting to notice a theme today, you’re not alone. There’s a lot of smack talk going on in the NBA Finals, but oddly enough, most of it’s taking place off the court.
This story is no different and more ironically, it doesn’t even involve a player but rather the wife of Stephen Curry.
Yes, it’s Ayesha Curry who’s throwing some verbal darts towards LeBron James‘ Cleveland Cavaliers – specifically their fans.
Steph Curry’s wife posted an Instagram photo with their lovable daughter Riley which included the following caption:
Nothing like #roaracle arena!!! Riley slept through the entire first half both nights here in Cleveland! Can’t wait to get back home to the bay!!! #2moretogo We bring the noise in the bay.
On snap. Somebody better get the aloe for that burn.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard from Ayesha Curry during the NBA playoffs as she recently put forth a piece in Time Magazine which she blasted those who’ve had anything negative to say about daughter Riley Curry.
While I was expecting a lot of back and forth come the NBA Finals, I have to admit, I didn’t imagine anybody’s significant other getting involved, especially that of Steph Curry.
There will be a Game 6 back in Cleveland, so it should be interesting to see how Cavs fans react.
