It’s a time old tradition for NBA players to fill a rookie’s car with popcorn.
No matter the city, no matter the franchise, it happens every year. But what do you do if you’re the Sacramento Kings and rookie Nik Stauskas doesn’t have a car? You’re out of luck, right? Not so fast as a collection of players that likely included DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay made their way to Stauskas’ house and decided to fill it with popcorn.
Yep, instead of his car – which he doesn’t have – the Kings flooded Nik’s house with popcorn in an epic prank.

It’s bad enough to have buttery, salty popcorn sitting on your leather seats in some rather hot California weather for a few hours, but to have gallons of it poured all over your home? I don’t even want to envision the clean up process there.
And I’m not just talking about getting the popcorn off the floor. From the grease to the kernels, seems like Nik Stauskas has a lot of work on his hands moving forward.
On the plus side, it’ll finally give him something to do since the Kings don’t seem all that concerned with giving him playing time.
