Russell Westbrook Trolled Over ‘Execution’ By Ernie Johnson (Video)

Russell Westbrook

A few days back, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook decided to get his Marshawn Lynch on and give local media a rough time, especially one reporter.

Multiple questions were posed Westbrook’s way with the only answer being some form of “execution”. One bold reporter, who days earlier had written a not so kind piece on why the Thunder were struggling, asked Russell Westbrook if everything was okay. That’s when the former UCLA talent suggested he didn’t like the reporter.

The exchange went viral and TNT’s Ernie Johnson decided to have some fun on behalf of Westbrook on Tuesday night.

Appearing on NBATV, Westbrook was asked about his “execution” in his most recent game prompting the All-Star to bust up laughing.

How can you not love Ernie Johnson? Dude is a boss.

As for Russell Westbrook, you have to give the guy props for taking the comment in stride and having fun with it – something he wasn’t having a week ago when the original interview came to light.

If you can’t make fun of yourself, what’s the point? Also, I’m guessing Johnson probably didn’t get clearance to ask that question before hand, so TNT’s basketball host has some big balls to troll Westbrook like that.
