Although LeBron James has already been to Miami and attempted to recruit Ray Allen to the Cleveland Cavaliers, he’s going to be facing competition from the Washington Wizards.
This past offseason the Wizards were said to be interested in signing Allen, who opted to remain a free agent and not sign with any team. Now with Allen thinking about signing with a team for a playoff push, the Washington Wizards want in in hopes of reuniting him with Paul Pierce.
The Wizards want to reunite Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. They feel Allen’s game and veteran leadership would help them as they try to contend.

Ray Allen and Paul Pierce of course teamed together on the Boston Celtics who won a NBA Championship with Kevin Garnett.
Previously the Chicago Bulls were also said to be intrigued with the idea of bringing Ray Allen aboard, though rumors regarding such have been quiet as of late and it seems as if the Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards have the best chance at signing the veteran sharpshooter.
Cavs or Wizards? LeBron James and Kyrie Irving or John Wall and Bradley Beal? It’s not going to be an easy decision, especially since there’s a very good chance both squads could meet in the postseason.
