Just an FYI to soon-to-be NBA free agents like Rajon Rondo, don’t put yourself in foot race with guys who are faster than you.
More importantly, don’t put yourself in position to be hurt. Alas, that’s exactly what former Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo did when he decided to race against Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Granted, Jackson is an extremely fast athlete, but Rondo isn’t exactly a slouch either as he’s been compared to other quick talents like Russell Westbrook, Tony Parker and more. Or maybe I should have said – was – compared to those fellow basketball stars because it looks like Rajon Rondo has lost a step.
Just watch Rondo lose this race to Lamar Jackson and it’s not even close.

So a bad attitude combined with declining skills? Pretty hard to see why the Dallas Mavericks didn’t want him back, eh?
In all seriousness though, maybe Rajon Rondo was having a bad day or the Louisville quarterback is a secret Flash Gordon. Either way, probably not the best look when you’re trying to secure yourself a hefty NBA contract.
