Popular Rap Albums Remade With NBA Stars (Photo)

Basketball and hip-hop go together like peanut butter and jelly. I mean, just about every NBA star at one point or another has wanted to be a rapper and every MC wants to be a ballplayer.

So it only makes sense that somebody with some photoshop skills would eventually take some of the most classic hip-hop albums of all time and merge them with some of the greatest basketball players in the NBA.

It’s just shocking it’s taken so long for it to happen.

But thankfully we now have an idea of what such would look like thanks to New Jersey based artist Jesse Nunez who created some amazing pieces of work that pay tribute to Stephen Curry (Nas’ Illmatic album), Kobe Bryant (Notorious BIG’s Ready To Die), Russell Westbrook (Kanye West’s Late Registration), Kevin Durant (Dr. Dre’s The Chronic) and Carmelo Anthony (50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’).

That’s not all though and they’re all really well done as you can see below:

I’m not sure which is my favorite out of the bunch. The Kevin Durant one is pretty good as the title matches pretty well and while rather basic, still looks pretty good. The Stephen Curry one though is pretty hot as well.

What’s your favorite?

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
