Phil Jackson On New York Knicks: ‘S#@% Happens’

New York Knicks

It’s been a rough season for the New York Knicks. Actually, it’s been more like a nightmare.

When Phil Jackson took over the franchise, there was a beacon of light shinning down. But that light has since dimmed and now the Knicks are experiencing one of their worst seasons in franchise history.

Jackson recently sent a video message to season ticket holders asking for patience and now has commented on the struggles of the team yet again, this time suggesting ‘s#@$ happens’.

“[Expletive] happens,” Jackson said. “And this year it happened to us.

“We knew we were going to have to take this team apart to get to where we want to get to. It may be a godsend in the end.”

While Phil Jackson is right in that regard, and he’s not all to blame given some of the horrid contracts he absorbed, he needs to take a bit more blame than he’s been doing. It’s not all Carmelo Anthony‘s fault.

Then again, this is Phil Jackson we’re talking about and I’m pretty sure he’s never done anything poorly and any failures were the fault of somebody else.

Hopefully for Knicks fans, he’s right and this is just a blip on the radar and things will get much better next season thanks to the New York Knicks excessive amount of salary cap space.
