If you had to pick a word to describe Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young, bashful would not be in the fold. That’s because the former USC star has never met a shot or camera he didn’t like.
A continuous quote machine, Young was asked what the Los Angeles Lakers need to do to combat the loss of Kobe Bryant, who is out for the season with a shoulder injury. He answered in the only way Nick Young knows how.
Nick Young on what the Lakers must do without Kobe: "Pretty much just give me the ball and get out of the way."

You’d assume Nick Young’s suggestion was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but then when you think about the way Nick Young plays basketball, it probably wasn’t at all.
The sad part is, there really aren’t any better offensive options for the Lakers right now, so despite being benched last night after a verbal spat with head coach Byron Scott, it appears Nick Young is going to be the Lakers primary offensive weapon moving forward.
Of course, considering how poorly Kobe Bryant was playing earlier this season, Young can’t really do any worse.
If anything, given his antics and over the top flare, the Lakers may not win many games the rest of the season but they’ll certainly be extremely entertaining no matter the end result.
